Video Graphic Organizers

$4.00

Help students stay focused and organized when creating videos. Video software and platforms can feel overwhelming to students, and it’s easy for them to become distracted by any platform’s bells and whistles. Eliminate that feeling for them and use  a systematic approach when teaching video making.

Description

It can feel overwhelming to include video making as a final product. Sometimes we don’t know where to begin to teach our students. Other times, it’s frustrating because young video designers get lost in choosing embellishments.

I’ve successfully taught children PreK through Grade 6 how to make videos that have purpose and with focus. The included lessons are the secret to my success. Whether teaching a 3 year old how to make a short video with characters and setting, 8 year olds how to make informational videos, or 12 year olds to communicate more complex ideas, my 3 lesson process works. Regardless of the video software, app or platform they are using.

To give older students even more focus, the included graphic organizers encourage them to plan out ideas before they start creating. Even if they slightly stray from the plan, having a plan is what saves instructional time.
