Learning how to cut and paste on a Chromebook for the first time can feel overwhelming to young learners. There are a lot of steps to remember! And, it doesn’t feel natural to little hands to press and hold one key while quickly clicking another. It takes time and practice to master this skill.

Give students the time and practice they need to acquire the complex keyboard skill of cutting and pasting. They’ll learn two Chromebook shortcuts to cut an image from one slide and then paste it into another.
There are 6 scenes with 6 graphics added to them. All of the images don’t belong in the scene! Students use problem solving skills to determine what doesn’t belong. Then they cut the image from that slide & paste it onto the correct one.
