Description
Young researchers frequently write notes exactly how they read it. As adults, we know this is plagiarizing. But for them, it is often because they are unable to paraphrase the information they just read. Teaching them how to write in-text citations helps them share research in a responsible and ethical way.
This activity is perfect to use with students who are ready for a bit more sophisticated research writing. It provides them with fun and playful activities that teach them how to write citations that not only flow well, but follow MLA 8 guidelines.
