It is often presumed that PreK cannot or should not borrow books. The fear is that they will tear pages, chew on covers, and just forget to return them.
This is not so. With a few proactive steps, PreK is highly capable of and eager to borrow library books. As librarians, we do this by creating book borrowing habits that stick!
