These print and digital reminders can be used proactively. Set up routines with classroom teachers to give students a sticker or bracelet the day before library to remind everyone to return books. Post the images to Seesaw, Remind, Instagram or other family communication platforms the day before to give a helpful reminder that library books are due the next day.
These resources can also be used reactively, after students have forgotten to return their library books. Have bracelets handy to glue on students’ wrist so they go home with the reminder. Have sheets of reminder stickers nearby to pop on students’ shirts so they have the reminder visible when they get home.
