Description
Would you like to teach students how to write looping and conditional algorithms in a fun and engaging way? Students learn the following skills with this no-prep mini unit:
- choose a background.
- insert multiple sprites.
- customize sprites to make a new costume.
- write code to reset a sprite back to its original size, direction, and location.
- write and debug algorithms that include loops and conditional statements.
- use a sensing block within a conditional block.
- run multiple lines of code at once.
All of this can be accomplished in three to five lessons. This is perfect for December’s Hour of Code and Computer Science Month.
