As Librarians and Media Specialists, we have so much information about the importance of reading and other literacies. It can be challenging to share that information without overwhelming staff and families. After downloading this resource, you will receive 3 formats to share literacy statistics and tips with staff and/or families with the intent to increase reading engagement.

• All newsletters have live links for families to receive more information and easily access suggested tools.
• Easily upload single PDFs each month to your family communication system: Seesaw, Google, Class Dojo, School Messenger, etc.
• One editable template so you can create your own newsletter if you choose. Remember to download it as a PDF before sharing it with families!
• Social Media Image Assets for each month. Upload the series of images to your preferred social media platform. Images are numbered so you know which order to upload them.
• Social Media Video Assets for each month. Videos are animated versions of the social media image assets. Easily upload them to your preferred social media platform.
• Each newsletter & social media asset contains a literacy statistic, tips to increase literacy habits or benefits of particular media, and suggested apps to use at home.
