Description
Are your older students disengaged readers? Are they circulating or reading less books than other grades? As a library media specialist, raising readers is important to us; we want to keep books in the hands of our students. One of the best ways to do that is word of mouth; through digital book reviews! As students review books they’ve read, they also generate reading excitement in future readers through quick book reviews.
The digital platform is your (or your students’) choice. However, before they click that record, they need to organize and plan their thinking. There’s nothing worse than stepping up to mic unprepared. Teaching students how to plan a recording session makes it enjoyable and has them coming back for more!
Get ready to help your students create awesome digital book reviews and increase reading across the school!
