So many apps, so little time! It is a pretty common dilemma for educators today. How do you choose which apps to use with your students? How do you avoid the sparkle of the latest and greatest and choose apps that will provide our students with meaningful learning opportunities?
I recently had the opportunity to consider these questions and I chose to evaluate 3DBear. If you are new to 3DBear, it is an augmented reality app. Students use assets within the 3DBear app, or import them from Thingiverse or Sketchfab, to create augmented images and videos. These creations can be shared within the app, mirrored on your projection device, or in social media.
