Learning how to cut, copy and paste on a Chromebook for the first time can feel overwhelming to young learners. There are a lot of steps to remember! Give students the time and practice they need to acquire the complex keyboard skills of cutting, copying and pasting. They’ll learn three Chromebook shortcuts to copy and cut an image from one slide and then paste it into another.
Students can build each scene the way that they choose and use as many of the images as they like. Choices like this keeps them engaged while they learn a complex skill that we as adults take for granted.
Students will cut images from 6 scenes. Each scene has 6 graphics added to them. All of the images don’t belong in the scene! Students use problem solving skills to determine what doesn’t belong. Then they cut the image from that slide & paste it onto the correct one.
