Subitize the Environment! Students either love or hate math. One way to get them loving it is by helping them uncover it in their environment. As a former elementary classroom teacher, I know how much students enjoy real world application. As a library media specialist, I have repeatedly witnessed the engaging power of Augmented Reality. After downloading this lesson, your students will be matching numbers to amounts as the become media creators.

Once your students can independently complete this activity, you will have a new morning work, arrival time, or bell ringer that requires zero prep.
